the problems that we're facing. >> and now we are, what, 12 days away until the next debate. professor, what do the two candidates need to do between now and that next date on the 16th? >> well, i think obama needs to become a little bit more assertive, a little bit more aggressive. as the front runner, i believe he felt like he could just sort of coast a little bit and as the front runner not make any mistakes and perhaps maybe romney would make some mistakes. i think romney needs to be more specific about his plan if he wants to move forward. he needs to give those details that obama was hammering him on. >> it will be interesting to see how that next one pans on. the next one is a town hall with a list of people versus a single moderator asking the questions. we want to know right now with a set-up like that, who do you think will come out on top? >> i think obama will be much better prepared an his general demeanor typically plays well for a town hall meeting. if he can eliminate the pauses and come out with a little more energy, i think he'll probably do pretty well at a town hall format.
